BACON WRAPPED SCALLOPS

Rinse your scallops and pat them dry with paper towels.
Set them aside.
Take out your bacon and cut each piece in half.
Wrap each half piece of bacon around the outside of each scallop then put it on a skewer so that the scallop sits flat on the meat of the fish (see picture).
Lightly spray with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
Once your grill is ready, place the skewers just off the heat and cook 10 minutes per side.
Place them directly over the heat for about 2 more minutes each side then take them off the fire.
In a small sauce pan, melt your butter and throw in your garlic and chili powder.
Once the butter melts, pour it into a bowl.
Dip the scallops in the melted delicious garlic butter and enjoy.
