Honey Glazed Lamb Chops

It’s SUNDAY! My favorite day of the week, TV wise…Game of Thrones comes on in just a few hours and I spend most of my Sunday afternoon looking for GoT themed dinners to make for my favorite dinner companion.

This one was SO easy! No joke.  Probably the easiest meal I’ve made in a long time.

Honey Glazed Lamb Chops

  • 1/4 C Honey
  • 1/4 C Mustard
  • 6 Mint leaves
  • Salt and Pepper
  • 4 Lamb Chops


  1. Heat broiler to high.
  2. Combine honey, mustard, mint, salt and pepper in a small sauce pan and heat.
  3. Cook for about 3 minutes.
  4. Brush the sauce on both sides of the lamb and cook for about 5 minutes per side.
  5. Lamb should be eaten pretty rare which would be about 145 degrees.

Just a few very simple ingredients to make this delicious dish.  Be warned, if you don’t love the flavor of lamb you may not like this dish.  The flavor of the lamb comes through and is complimented by the flavors of the sauce.

The original dish was honey and clove lamb chops.  I recently made a dish with too much clove in it, so I decided to leave that out and add in some mint to give it my own twist.  If I make it again, I may add some orange zest.

Nothing is easier than putting delicious cuts of meat under the broiler.  Quick, tender and very tasty.  Cook until brown on both sides then take them out and enjoy!

We had a party to go to later that night, so I served them with simple bacon wrapped dates (from the tapas post).  So good, and such a crowd pleaser!
